This video was taken in Ham, France at the 2006 French National Specialty Show.  Mr. Triquet is the author of The Saga of the Dogue de Bordeaux, as well as the FCI Standard for the breed.  He is considered worldwide to be the authority on the standard for the Dogue de Bordeaux.  Mr. Triquet is using Dillen Van De Paterhoek as his subject.  Many thanks to Bart De Croo for his assistance and the use of Dillen.

Watch your volume control on this one.  We had to elevate the volume in order the hear Mr. Triquet,  there was a lot of background noise with all the excitement at the end of the show.

Judges Education - Luis Pinto Teixeira

We taped this video in Dortmund, Germany at the 2003 FCI World Show.  Mr. Teixeira is well known in Europe and around the world as a Dogue de Bordeaux breed expert.  The content of the video is well worth enduring the poor picture and sound quality of the video.

The Dogue de Bordeaux Open Male competition at the 2009 French National Specialty Show in Rambervillers, France.  This was a very large class so the judge split them into two groups and made his top selections from each group.  Northland's Finn was selected in the four top males from the first group and now joins the top males from the second group.  Now, the top four males will be selected for the Ring of Honor.  These four dogs selected will be judged later in the show and placements will be awarded.
